Do not let a man...................

take their son in for a haircut. Yesterday Jay said he was going to get a hair cut and I asked him to take Steven because his hair was past his shoulders. Even though long hair is the style with boys around here I felt like it was too long and too hot for summer time. Steven wanted it to still be on the long side just shorter so he wouldn't keep getting mistaken for a girl.

When my son arrived back home, His front looks shorter but his back almost looks the same. Steven said they cut 1 1/2 inches off. He needs a good 2 1/2 more to go.

Steven likes it, he says but that won't last too long since I know he will still be mistaken for a girl.

Another thing added to my list on what to not ask a man to do. :sofa

Steven use to have a buzz cut when he was younger and really didn't have a say on how his hair should be cut, but once he hit 4th grade he developed his style. Just wait until he starts high school and joins ROTC. The buzz cut will be back. :rofl

Poor kid. Tough to have style and live with the heat as well. Heck, if I could get away with a buzz cut in the summer I would do it.

I just don't think I have the head shape for it.....HAHAHAHAHA!!!

I was saying they same thing the other day. Long hair in this heat is crazy. My hair is not only long but thick and a bunch of curls into the mix and add some frizz because of this heat.
