Local weather is saying they have had over 4 dozen tornado warnings in their viewing area since 5pm, and it's not over. Looks like it's getting close to Paula's area.... and it's getting pretty bad here too. Winds are high, lots of thunder, lightning and very hard rain. According to the weather man, this is supposed to be going on till at least midnight.... we're under a tornado watch till then.

My sister is on the road somewhere between Southaven and Senatobia...... there's a tornado coming behind her headed toward Batesville. She's determined to get home to be with Mom on Mother's Day.... please say a prayer for her safety.

Looks like the worst of it may get here around midnight if the storm doesn't start falling apart.... it might be a long night.

Sure hope your sister made it okay Tina! Most of the really bad weather seemed to hit east of us around Holly Springs. We did have one tornado sighted in Independence, which is about five miles from our house.

My sister made it home fine. Prayer works... she said she only came through a few short areas of rain. The storms were just ahead of her, and behind her. :) She said when she drove through Southaven, all the intersections were being treated as 4 way stops because of the electricity being out.

The winds here were 50-60 MPH last night, and it sounded like the roof was going to come off the house. We could feel the walls vibrating. We have limbs all over the place so it will be a mess to clean up. I am thankful that we have no serious damage--other areas weren't as fortunate.
