everytime I turn around the gas prices increase. Hmm, maybe I won't be in such a hurry to get a car.

The only way to control the price of gas is to take crude off the commodities market and set a price for it. Otherwise it is subject to whoever can buy and see it at the best price on the market.

This is getting outrageous.

Average gas price around here is $4.30.

It was 3.88 this weekend when I filled my tank. I am so grateful that everything I need is within a few minutes from my house. And work is less than 15 miles.

It depends which part of town you go to or whether you're in TN or KY. It's ranging from $3.38 to $3.88.
My sister says the same thing. Mostly they stay in Hopkinsville for everything but sometimes go to Clarksville about 1/2 down the road. She buys her gas a Walmart for $.03 off a gal.

Here in Wallburg and High Point, NC gas is $3.82 to $3.95. And if you buy gas in the morning you pay one price and usually after lunch the price goes up around here.
