The average around here is $3.86 but on the news this morning, they stated it is as high as $3.99. It will be hitting $4 in no time.

It depends which part of town you go to or whether you're in TN or KY. It's ranging from $3.38 to $3.88.

3.45-3.52 depending on the station. Exxon, as always, is the most expensive.

Well, I feel better then. I paid 3.54 this morning and filled my tank for about $30. It's going to be $4 before the summer is out and all of the gas companies are going to report record earnings again.

AAUUGGHH!!!

The shutdown comes amid supply outages in Nigeria that have helped to support oil against a strengthening dollar.

"We've got a confluence of a number of events that have really disrupted crude oil supply," said Victor Shum, an energy analyst with Purvin & Gertz in Singapore. "That's what's driving oil to a new record even though the U.S. dollar actually strengthened a bit."
