indeed. conversations are like bridges. moving from one thing to the next... I guess that's how we all seem to have those annoying relatives that can talk a mile while you're out shopping.... it's so irritating to just stand there and wait to move on as my parents and some random relative just ... keep... talking. for... hours.
God yeah that is so annoying! - Wait till you live with your girlfriend mate - It only gets worse! And you are even more fearful of the consequences of walking off without her. :)

Oh, I hate that too... SO annoying...

And I see conversations as more like branches than bridges. The seem to spurr off in any direction, until you get a great big tree of topics.
