Falling Dusk Board Rules

  • Introduction To The Rules: This is a complete list of guidelines and rules set for the forum. By registering on this forum You are accepting these rules and guidelines and also accept any punishment there is for breaking them. Every rule has a purpose and We reserve the right to change, remove, and add any rules We feel needed.

  • Contact: If You need to contact an administrator for any reason, please email us at FallingDusk1@aim.com. Note that spam, harassment and obscene messages will have You reported to AIM, and blocked from the account with little or no warning.


  • Prohibited Content: You may not post, upload, link to, or e-mail any content that contains, promotes, instructs about, or provides prohibited content of the like listed below:


    • Content that infringes upon any rights [ex. MP3s and ROMs] (including, but not limited to, copyrights and trademarks)
    • Abusive, threatening, defamatory, racist, or obscene
    • Viruses or any other harmful computer software
    • False Information or libel
    • Spam, chain letters, or Pyramid schemes
    • Gambling or Illicit drugs
    • Terrorism & Nazism
    • Hacking or cheating for internet/online games Warez, Roms, CD-Keys, Cracks, Passwords, or Serial Numbers
    • Pornography, nudity, or sexual material of any kind
    • Excessive profanity (Its allowed to an extent, we don't want to see the same 5 words in every post you make)
    • Invasive of privacy or impersonation of any person/entity
    • Hacking materials or information.

    • Each Member is allowed to have a signature of up to 1000 characters. Should a staff member find your signature too large, You will be asked to put it in spoiler tags.

    • You may change your user name only once. Period.


  • Posting & PMs: Posting should not be an issue. I DO NOT want to see any prohibited content in anyone’s post. I also don’t want to have members telling staff that they were sent something offensive or obscene in a PM.

  • Disputes Between Members: As far as arguments go, administration is able to read every single reported post and PM, as well as all trashed topics and posts, so they will know who started.

  • Forum Courtesy and Punctuation: Please, punctuation and at least semi-literate posts are encouraged when making posts, and expected in the RP. Please be courteous to all members, keep everything on topic and follow the RP posting rules.

  • Member Inactivity: If You have 20 or more posts and are not on the forum for 10 or more days, You will be moved to the "Missing Nin." member group, to let someone know You're back, just PM a Grand Kage to be changed back to a normal Member.

  • Double posting: Double posting is allowed in most cases, if you have a legitimate reason for doing so it will be excused, but multiple posts on more than one occasion for no reason will be deleted and the poster will be warned and then if it continues banned. Don't bring back old topics for no reason. If you have a reason, be sure to state it.

  • Advertising: Advertisements may only be posted in the designated sections. Using an advertisement in Your signature is perfectly fine. Advertisement of Any prohibited content shall be removed immediately and the perpetrator shall be reprimanded on the spot.

  • Moderation & Bans: Posting, linking to, or the extreme reference/ description of any prohibited content will result in warnings. Once a user reaches the maximum warning level, they shall become banned.
