Welcome to the Faded Line!
The Faded Line is a camming community, where we all love talking about Second Life, Second Life's Fashion, Products, and Second Life Videos. We hope that this place blooms with fellow Second Lifers, and that all of those who join get along good enough for us to be considered a family. There are rules that you have to follow, but otherwise the staff is very laid back and very welcoming. Be sure to use the Search Feature to make sure what you're making a topic for isn't already posted.
We have several modifications on the forums, most of which you can take full advantage of as a member. If you're a guest, please sign up on the site and help our community grow, we won't bite. :] One of the most noticeable mod is the Shoutbox, located on the front page of the forums [Edit: Coming Soon!]. Go ahead and use it as much as you want, but don't forget to post and such, as we don't want the activity to die down and will remove it if it's cutting into topics being made and such. We also have a reputation system, where you can rep other members for their posts. If it's a good post, then you can give it positive rep. If it's a bad post, you can give it negative rep. This system will help promote more friendlier communities, though it's almost guaranteed that there will be those few members who purposely go for negative rep.
Be sure to keep this forum flame free. If you do start flaming, the staff will give you a warning to knock it off, and if it continues we'll take action. That action can range from a suspension from the forums for 1-3 days, to a full time perma ban. We want our community to be as friendly as possible and appeal to new members, and the best way to do that is for everyone to get along. We know that's not completely possible though, which is why we have the debate forums, where you can go and debate other members on subjects like religion, drugs, sex, etc.
We do not allow 18+ content to be posted anywhere besides the areas marked with This forum may contain 18+ material, nor do we allow warez, hacking, or otherwise illegal content. If we find out that you've been posting said content, or sending it to another member, you will be perma banned from the community. In simple terms, don't post anything the government might get you for.
We hope you guys enjoy it here, and be sure to tell your friends!
PS: I'll start choosing staff members when we hit 25 members, based on activity, post quality, and maturity. So, be good and you might get mod.
