Not necessarily. Since they're untradeable, only a Blacksmith can get a Horus Eye, but Deputy Stars can be obtained and traded by Bosshunters. But a Horus Eye will take much less effort to create once we have regular Skelegon grinders. I think, though, that people's main characters are best off as Bosshunters, and mules can forge armors and potions with the other two working professions. If you do it the other way and have a mule be a Bosshunter, well, you probably won't be getting a Strawberry Ice Cream anytime soon, because there aren't many bosses that level 50 can kill. However, a level 50 is perfectly capable of taking your golem blocks and mineral plates to make new shoes with. You could argue that a Mage has a harder time at bosses because hardly anyone wants one for Zakum and doing Anego/Bigfoot/whatever solos take too long, but the Mushmoms and Zombie Mushmoms in BHPQ tell me I've gotten points, and it's probably faster to get 20 points by spamming a Mage ultimate at BHPQ than it is for most DPS characters to solo an Anego. |

Not terribly. You can make Flamekeepers and YSS. So it's not COMPLETELY pointless. |
