I've been having problems sleeping lately, so like... what are YOUR sleeping methods if you can't go to sleep? |

I either put on some music or the radio. That usually helps me. I often listen to some AC/DC, but my personal recommendation for getting to sleep is listening to relaxing music CDs. I have one called "Zen Relaxation". Very calming and nice. http://www.amazon.com/Zen-Relaxation-Gibson-Donald-Quan/dp/B000HEVZ4O |

Just lye down and think of your day. Drift away in your thoughts. |

If I can't go to sleep and it's a weekend, I just stay up really late until I'm exhausted. Then I pass out until like 1 pm the next day. Otherwise, I read or just lie in bed and I fall asleep eventually. |

I don't think the computer makes you sleep lol, or at least, it doesn't make me sleep. |

Breaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaathe deeply. Except sometimes that doesn't work because you get distracted. But you'd be surprised, it does work for most of the time. Or just listen to music. |

I have insomnia(not clinically tested yet, but i am and i can't sleep until 3+ in the morning), and i too have problems falling asleep, but i'd take dylan's idea in just laying down and try thinking about nothing. It takes some practice but you can actually notice that you have no thoughts swimming around in your brain. We had some kind of relaxation exercise in social studies 2 years ago when i was actually in school, for absolutely no reason, and you could actually feel a void of thinking, then you passed out and woke up 45 minutes later with drool all over the place. No, i'm not crazy :< |

I usually turn on either a podcast (I prefer smodcasts), or turn my monitor to face my bed and watch videos until I happen to doze off. |

Eek, I also have sleeping problems; yeah, I might have insomnia. Anyways... I just close my eyes and think about things I've got to do the next day, or just random thoughts I like to think about sometimes. Most of the time I have my TV on too, but veeeery low. |

Check out the bands: Mogwai Sleep Earth Nest They help me get to sleep. Really ambient music. If you need, I can upload a list for you. |
