Cypress Valley Bible Church

Posted by: Bob_Wilkin

Hi All,

I went to my urologist last week and he thinks I may have passed the stone. There is no test to confirm that. But I have been feeling better.

Sharon and I went to Cypress Valley Bible Church in Marshall, Texas this past weekend.

We really enjoyed out time there. We stayed with Martin and Stella Clark at their home on Lake Windermere. I even caught some small fish (brim).

On Sunday I spoke on the power of our personal testimony and the need to make sure our testimonies conform to the message of John 3:16.

I live 40 minutes or so north of the GES office in Irving. For over 15 years I’ve had a long commute. We had an option to opt out of lease and the end of October and we took it. Kyle lives even north of me, so it only made sense to consider a move north. (Formerly all of the employees but me lived near Irving, so a move was impractical.)

We are looking at some options in Denton, Texas, a town with two major colleges (Univ. of North Texas and Texas Woman’s University). Those colleges should provide us with a lot of people who could help with shipping and data processing and maybe even web design and typesetting. We will keep you posted if we move. We’d appreciate your prayers as this is a big step. Moving is very stressful. However, it appears we can save hundreds of dollars each month in the new location, and Kyle and I will have much shorter commutes. Plus Denton is a nice place to work.

I would move to a town where they don’t have kidney stones if possible.
