I went to the city and just simply bought it. Why would I need to convince my parents? All I say is 'I will be going to the city to buy a game'. Only response I get is 'Have fun' ![]() I originally wanted to buy the Orange Box, but that one was sold out... But why the hell does the game cost 30 euroes in Europe? If you think about it, for that price you can get the Orange box in America... |

Ah too bad you didn't get the orange box :( It is really fun. Half-life 2 is cool too. And Portal, it has real humor

Well, I got Half Life 2 for the Xbox. Maybe that I will buy Portal another time. It was on sale too, but it doesn't really have my interest at the moment |

I am thinking of buying the orange box for my xbox 360, never really new about it properly untill recently, is it like you get four (or what ever number there are) seperate games, or is it all on like one CD and you only get one set of achievements? |

HOLD IT! Do not buy the Orange Box for the Xbox 360. Valve is a PC gaming company. They constantly give away free updates and expansion packs for the PC version of the Orange Box. On the other hand, they haven't even fixed the glitches that existed from day one of the 360 version of the Orange Box (and the PS3 version of the Orange Box is downright unplayable). Even if you have to run the games on low quality graphics on your PC, it'll still be better than what the 360 version has to offer. Edited by Puffles, Jun 28 2008, 03:00 AM.

Agreement. From what I've heard, the 360 version also has horrible lag because there is no real server control and the game's are hosted on the console of someone who is playing the game with you, which leads to high ping if you are far away from each other. Please, please go PC. |

Not to mention that you can only play 8 vs. 8 in 360 Team Fortress 2, even though the game, the balancing, and the maps were all specifically designed for 12 vs. 12 matches. They couldn't fix the lag problem that you got when you had 9 vs. 9 or more, so they just put a limit on the amount of people that could play. And unlockable weapons? Community made maps? Constant updates and tweaks and balancing? Unless you buy the PC version, forget about it. Edited by Puffles, Jun 28 2008, 05:25 PM.
