aww plurry :) I think somehow we do get a broadcast of loveline in Lexington but I've never been able to find it - my mom says she's found it but she probably was thinking of her California days.

You can listen to Loveline when it's on from www.lovelineshow.com. That's how I listen to it. You can also listen to it for free if you don't have the membership. I signed up for the membership just days after I listened. I know that's a touchy subject or it has been before but I love it. I do have another link that I can listen from when the Loveline site won't let me.

on my way home from stuffing myself stupid at a local casino buffet the other night, i caught loveline, and noticed they now extend the bumpers, and play them behind the segments. can you imagine if they had foisted that on carolla? he would've walked out.

i don't like it.

when i was at teh junior college 100 years ago, my best friend and i had an hour long, weekly baseball show on the college radio station. we got a new program director in the middle of a semester, and he wanted us to play music behind our banter.
we objected, but had no choice. so, i made a loop of one of the songs off of nine inch nails' "fixed" ep, and had it potted up louder than we were. needless to say, he got pissed and threatened to shut us down.

so, we went along with it. he lasted a few more months before being s_ canned. the guy was an irish catholic, raging alcoholic. he had like, 10 kids, i can only imagine what the home life was like.

So like...there's music behind the entire segment?

In some parts of it, yes. I'm with Plurry on this one, I don't like it. What do you all think of the new Loveline opening? It's the third one I've heard in 8 months, go figure!

i've heard it - don't care for it. then again, it's not aimed at my demographic.

It reminds me of the opening they used to use during the early 2000s.

There was one opening that had something about coast to coast. I've heard it listening to the older shows. Not sure if it's the 90's but it might be the early 2000's.
