Paying for access to Loveline; Why I think that is wrong

Loveline is meant to be a show to help teenagers, no? So I hate the idea that they need to pay to get access to that help. How are these teenagers meant to get credit cards to pay for the podcasts and forums?

I would imagine that the parents who WOULD pay for their children to have these things are the children who DO NOT need Loveline the most.

Don't even get me started there.

I could write hundreds of pages on how much that place sucks (and not just for the very valid reason you mentioned).

i'd like to hear drew's take on this position, and how he feels about the "pay for play" of loveline.

but honestly, if one wants it bad enough, they can find commercial free loveline on the web. it's out there.

I am also thrown by the image of a girl with a stamp tramp on her back . It just seems so anti-loveline.

He's basically said that they don't run it directly, and while they wish it could be free they realize that the people who run the site probably need to get paid etc. etc. Something like that.

Also, who wants to bet that midriff with the tramp stamp belongs to Stryker?

I actually couldn't care less about how he feels on the subject.

Whether I liked it or not, I'd respect Adam's opinion (though it does help that I know that he is all for listeners even if they're listening for free).

Drew, on the other hand, seems like he wouldn't have much of an opinion.

He is a smart guy and I'm a fan, but he just doesn't seem all that deep.

Actually, that is a very good question. I wonder what Adam does think about it, I will ask him next time I call. Will let you know what he says.
