there IS a business model for this, guest Jason Calacanis explained it in fairly plain english to Adam on the ACP.

I get the feeling that Adam doesn't want to do it as Calacanis suggested for two reasons:
a) He doesn't want sponsors to meddle with his content and
b) he's still under contract with CBS and I think that doesn't allow him to get paid for the podcast until the year ends.

But Drew I don't think has EITHER of those problems, it's just a matter of some nerd braniacs (I'm just an ASPIRING nerd) throwing in with Drew and start getting it on.

P.S. All this PAYING FOR IT talk won't work, radio is free and a podcast MUST compete with that like it or not to reach even a semi-mass audience, some of us die-hards might pay for it but the casual listener just plain WONT even if it's inexpensive.
