The attached clip seems to show a mistake: at 03:00 The Wombles finish singing their hit "Remember You're A Womble" in English but immediately start up again in German, as though they had been miming to the wrong track. I had not realised there had been an official German-language version of this hit: "Die Wombles Sind Im Kommen/Im Common" ("The Wombles Are Coming/The Wombles Are On The Common".) I can see two ways of using Wombles in a parody - 1) take the English and change it to "Remember You're A Fegel" (or even "Super Fegel" for "Super Womble") 2) approximate the German lyrics by using rant snippets as in many German parodies like this one: parodying this: though "seine Crew" (his crew) becomes "die SS" lol |
