As he sits in the lobby of the Merc guild, designation PHI-XZT_0078 (known by no other name, even to himself) nothing much to worry about except his next pay and the condition of the ship. even though he had just bought some sentry droids, his ship had set him back a couple thousand credits. just then he had noticed a rumbling that slowly grew more intense. it was almost as if some huge... no. it was just his "partner" for his job. he calls himself "The Juggernaught." his huge, near-indestructable armor and heavily modified body was as conspicuous as the Confederation's Dress Uniform. rumor has it that some planet out there uses his picture to describe a folklore monster, but it's only a rumor. We soon after departed and reviewed my "orders" from the Guild.

Right now, I don’t care what happens; I just want him to disappear. Since his comrades are probably close by, you will not be able to take him on alone. Your partner on this mission is codenamed “the juggernaught”

"any questions?" I said.
"40,000? someone must really want him dead."he said.
"yep. anything else?"
"nope."
"then let's get to it. I'll send you the coordinates as soon as you get to your ship."

it was not long after this half-conversation that we departed and entered interdimensional travel. I set my droids to keep his ship from exploding and set myself down to another unrestful sleep.
Two days later, dimensional-standard time, we finally arrived outside scanner range of the backwater l'upth'ar system. it seems the Guild has been giving me some pretty small systems lately. that just means less people to alarm after the hit and more space to hide in if the hit goes bad as they occasionally do. whether the same could be said of The Juggernaught is less certain. I'm not sure anyone his size could hide very well. and with this former Commando, we'll need to be as discreet as possible. I put on my Maersl'e armor underneath my regular armor and made sure my mask and jetpack were airtight and full repectly. as I walked out the hatch, I noticed my partner had landed just a click away, so I ordered the ship to be camouflaged and I then left to rendezvous at the outskirts to the city he was last seen. my initial assumption was proof of how dangerous they can be. instead of understanding the need for an inconspicuous persona to hide behind while you try to catch the super soldier; he decided to show up in his pre-commando armor and all the bells and whistles to boot. the only thing he could have contributed to making his prescence known is by placing on a nameplate. oh well, I might need him to provide muscle in case this goes wrong.*calm down, you are worrying too much about this case. it doesn't even need to end the target's death, you can convince him to just dissappear.*
"hey, are we gonna get this thing rolling or what?"
his voice had startled me out of my reverie. *why are you getting so sloppy lately?* "yes, lets go. I have a plan..."
after a short debate as to the plan, I soon left to the nearest bar (funny how the best place to get information is the singular place that could not possibly be thought to hold much of it. libraries, private address databases, all of them could be corrupted. but a bar has information the intel the Feds would kill for.) I was outside the bar when I became aware of the Juggernaught behind me. I've heard his name in even the most remote systems. he'd need to stay behind in the alleyway. he'd make a good disguise as a wall.
Upon entering the bar I found his barely noticeable figure sitting at a table. Smart man. He's obviously good at hiding and remaining hidden if I could barely notice him. Anyways, I decided to try to scout him out. I've never really been good at it, and to get his notice wouldn't initially harm me. Needless to say, the next thing I knew he was at the other end of my table sitting down telling me he knows why I'm here.
“well, how do you know?” said I.
“because of your body language. It shows intent. Definitely not what many people in this bar have. Your armor is also too old for you to be any military man. And you're an unfamiliar face .”
“You also are known to be on the payroll of the Merc Guild. I've made it my study to know those who would be out to get me.” he said.
“well then you must know why they're after you. I don't. Are you willing to explain?” I asked.
“no”
“then here's the units: they we you to disappear. We don't care if you're in pieces or not. We could assasinate you, but that would not make either party happy nor whole.”
“I suggest you disappear. We can try to kill you, but we could save the energy, time, and bullets. Heck, we'll even give you one jump to your system of choice.”
“sounds good. Think I'll oblige, but let's talk outside.”
as we rounded the corner to the alley, he nearly looked at the Juggernaught with surprise.
“ah, the juggernaught. I guess I might have not survived without a scratch. Is that Pre-Commando armor? Where'd you get it?”

the rest of the plans were finished and he wanted us to do something for him for a little extra. He wanted us to find his friend and to rendezvous with him on hkel. He offered an extra $10000 for the service. His parting words were “I'll pay you extra if you're alive...”
It wasn't hard; finding former commandos is never hard, just find the place with the most shadows to hide in and then look in the nearest bar. Another uneventful snatch-and-go and before I knew it, we were relaying the coordinates on my Navicomp and we both settled down for a long trip. According to the Navicomp the planet is just about as inhabited as a Coalition cybernetics office. I sure hope I knew where I'm going...
he was quiet. Kept to himself and only spoke when spoken to. “A veritable clam, to be sure.” as my mother used to say. That's fine with me, more time to sleep.

oh, fun.
