Hey guys, my submission to Break Out 2 is done, well kinda I'm stuck on page 2 trying to decide between two ways of doing apart of panel 5 of page 1. I've included both here, but essentially my submissions done, now if only I know who to hand it too. On a side not the actual images at 300 resoloution these had to be shrunken down to 94 resloution because apparently the forum can't handle bigger images, which kinda sucks, can't see all the pretty brush work like this!

Great work man! I would personally use the panel where you don't see any of Dan's face. That part of the panel just implies that the mermaid is talking to Dan, making her the focal point of the panel. Showing an awkward part of Dan's face decreases the effectiveness of the piece. But hey that's just my two cents. Vibrant colours, simple straight forward gag, very appropriate for the theme of the 2nd Breakout. (Did anyone else notice this is the second food joke in this issue???) |

I really dig that last page as well. And the whole story almost subliminally hints at an anti-junk food theme. Not in the end though, but I think that idea would be a concept worth exploring; I.e. that whole thing that Glenn has been wanting to get going about food and comics and such. |
