Time has passed, and a new era has begun, to which the races have lead their own life, and brought their humble city back into a day where a breath is constant. All of which is about to change, as power is something that takes a strong, loyal man, and changes him into something only described as ugly. It is on a day, where the sun is clouded, and a peculiar mist has swept. Riches can make any man turn sour, and with a throne up for grabs, it wasn’t long before contests became alight. Many fought for these thrones and many died, but the few some that survived took reign, giving his oath as commander, and ruler of the land, he shall serve them well. But, like all the races living on the planet, they knew this story all too well. Their ancestors told them of their once battle with the humanoids, and it seems, history is now to repeat oneself. He stood there, grand and noble on the archway of the castle, his arms raised, as he gave his speech.

“Citizens, time have come for a new era...Where commander, I will lead this planet to its victory. I have endured months of battle for this title, and people, believe me, I am a humble servant to you all, I give you oath, on my soul I will provide for you... but with that comes sacrifice. You must serve this country, and do your best for it, and in return, I shall provide for you. Give you those essentials that you need, the ones that will keep you alive, Let me be your guide, my people you’re now mine”

A humble word of a young man, but his blood is tainted, and that was seen through the eyes of many. Spoilt with jewels, greed overwhelmed him and hungered with power, became an obsession. He pondered himself in thought, leaving his officers to keep law in order that gradually grew and grew. He went for a stroll with a few of his guards on a day he felt fit for, and on his way stumbled on humanoids that covered in the city. It seems those that had fallen so many years ago, kept their race going, and by the rags they wore, took him by the arms, revealing their secrets. They had been watching the races for some time, aware of their strategies, and keeping up their strength, for their return to the thrones. The commander was interested in these, even though they betrayed those centuries ago, he took pity and with a shake to the hand, they formed a strong alliance. All eyes were on them, these humanoid like creatures, walking alongside the commander, and they knew, from that moment, a battle will begin, to which only one will pay the price.

“Humanities are to roam free in this land. They are but loyal people to me, and will serve you well; you will follow them my people, and do as they say, for they are your new guards, your new general, your new captains... They are a contributing factor, having success in other regions of the galaxy, and therefore they have the experience to lead this community...”

After many months, it became obvious that ruling a land, was very different to being part of the land and with little to go for, the commander didn’t have much lead. He didn’t know the first about leadership and being a ruler, so rules were always at slack or revolted against. Until, a new race landed, coming from the spaceport. Only few of these left the ship, but it was clear, they were a very powerful race. They seemed strong, and the commander came out to greet them. His two fellow guards by his side, he let out a hand, to great what was believed the speaker of the group and they shook. At first, the commander was eager to know this entire race, but concern in his actions showed worry. He knew this new race was stronger than his men, and if they were to ever learn of this, they would be killed. He formed a treaty with them, kept this new race at bay, he saw them as the damned, and was harshly treated. They were put in their positions quickly, but not all these Velphoric saw the advantage of this, leaving the rogue behind in the port. The commander once home, ordered the ones who didn’t follow to be slaughtered, but this, he found was harder than thought. The Velphoric were a strong race, a race that allowed the commander to do as he wanted, because no other race dared to interrupt. Not a person spoke their word or an opinion, all was lost, and their hope was finally scarred.
