Very true, Jonny. My cat Chloe was not tactile but she curled up to my father's legs in his last 9 days. There is a hospital somewhere where a cat does the rounds and the cat visits and curls up to patients who are about to die. It was on the news and in the papers, extraordinary. Doris Stokes, the late medium, also spoke of patients who could see someone waiting for them. Skeptics often think that us believers only believe because we feel a need to but this is NOT the case. I'm a scientist first and foremost but some things cannot be explained away with logic and science. I believe because I have seen, read and heard of too much about the afterlife for it to bear no significance. |

I remember Doris Stokes. Her bio really jumped out at me. She heard this voice right before she passed away. I remember in the book it said, "your life on Earth is over, your life in spirit has begun." All I could say was "Wow". Even the living psychic and psychologist, Joan Borshenko (I remember her name started with a J, but I've listened to so many of these audiobooks that I sometimes mix up the names. I think I picked the wrong person), tells that the soul still lives on. She worked in a hospice during the first few years of her residency and felt the uplifting energy of souls passing onto another life. Listening to her words gave me some reassurance. I too have read "Life After Death", Lo, and found it enjoyable and enlightening. Have also met Doris Stokes many years ago and was impressed and read all her books. I have my own "near death" experiences and perhaps will relate them at some time. Not sure but I believe I have posted this elsewhere on a previous occasion. |
