I'm now riding the waves on my inflatable raft at last (I wasn't close enough to the water's edge before!). Mind you, it's quite a trek as I have to keep returning to the hut for my quota of three raft repair kits. This is not unlike Madubu Gorge! You get a bit of time before the raft collapses completely though, which helps save on a few kits. I need to colect two more candles but there's splits in the river so you have to turn pretty quickly to head down the correct path (whilst trying to avert certain disaster courtesy of the sharp rocks protruding in the middle of the river routes). It's slightly annoying having to keep starting from the top of the course each time. I don't know if you recall but there's a point he ends up at eventually with a lever and a lift but it only goes one way - upwards. Hence, to get back to the river divides you have to go up in the lift, restock on repair kits then make your way down the twists and turns again. Still, it uses up some time. There's nothing quite worse than a game being so easy that you finish it in under a day

Thanks, Ruum! But I think I need a walkthrough as I can't seem to find the other two items. I'm sure I have followed each river path but keep ending up at the wretched lift!!

lol Lo I'm so sorry, I completely forgot about this topic!  Anyway, glad to see you're making progress. That river is quite touch the first time, but there are always two different sides you can go. All I can say is try to go down another side. Sorry I can't help anymore.

That's okay! Thanks, Phlip! Actually at first I was thinking this game was a whole lot simpler than Tomb Raider but it gets more challenging as you go. I've needed the walkthrough a few times! That part with the ice monster was SOOOOOOOO dang frustrating! I wasted so much ammo on that thing before reading that it couldn't be harmed  I'm now on that desert island place (Gawd my memory for level names is terrible!). I'm on and off the boat (Had to go back to the start to get the spade thingy!). Now I've opened a hatch somewhere but I'm so not going to swim around aimlessly looking for it.....I don't particularly like Barracuda necklaces or shark's teeth up my rear end (Goes to consult the walkthrough..)

Thanks, Wayne, the one I last had up was written in Swahili I'm sure. I was told to go left instead of right and I broke the game (and Indy's legs haha). OMG you should hear him pronounce one of his finds.. 'Oh look, some medicine 'erbs' He can't say HERBS that actor doing the voice, hilarious!
