Funny, I know all life is supposed to be equal but somehow I can't feel any pang of conscience about your feeding of live bugs to your spiders since I find them so gross. It's payback time for all those roaches that repel tourists in Spanish hotel rooms

They can, the terrestrial Tarantulas are a bit clumsy when it comes to climbing a flat surface tho and a fall could easily kill them. |

I had not been keeping up with this thread so I went back to the beginning and will be posting answers to some of the posts with as I feel a need to. Dem Pumpkin? I guess that is as good a name as any and the color is right. The molting is very interesting to watch. Looks like it could be painful. I am with sis on the mice eating. I would never put a little mice in there fully knowing that it will be eaten. Its good to know that you don't do that Dem. Molly is a beautiful hamster sis. I sure hope you can tame her. But make sure that she is as flea free as you can get her coming from such a filthy shop. Dem what did you call your Green Bottle Blue? It is a stricking color combo. OMG Dem a scorpion too and what did you say?.... cute !!! It is in no way fluffy !!! I didn't know there was scorpion in Ala. There are plenty here but my electonic zapper seems to keep them out of my apartment. The Mexican Redknees is striking. What is the name? Shudders at seeing it on your hand. Very good shots on the feeding time. Ruum Thank you I loved the talking cat. I keyed on on Chessie as well and these was really interesting. There are 6 total to watch. The color is nice on the spiderlings and I don't blame your wife for not being happy as I would be very upset if that happened. I hope you find it soon before it gets too big. Rusty is a good name for that the last one. Just how many are you planning to get? Do you have each one in its own home place? You are going to run out of room soon!!! 1&2) Yes I named My Green Bottle Blue Pumpkin, because when it is full grown its Abdomen will be all Orange Like a Pumpkin. 3)yes I had a scorpion, But sadly it would not eat and died. But that happens to Wild caught animals in captivity.4)The Mexican Redknee is named "Ms. Smith" 5)The missing Spiderling is still Missing But I have 2 of them that are not missing so it is all fine. Odds are the missing one will not survive due to lack of feed and water......But then again I do have alot of loose crickets in my room so there is a slight possibility that it can survive. 6)yes, Rusty is a new River Rust Rump, and he is VERY docile and likes to be handled. 7)Im not sure how many I plan on getting.....Alot I guess....and yes I am about 3 maybe 4 tarantulas away from being out of room on the bookshelf |
