Have to go to Bexhill for the weekend because apparently I'm too young to be left home alone for a night, even with my brother who's bloody 18 this month. ^o) My parents treat me like an immature child. I have like no trust. :(

Anyway, I'll be off tomorrow.
Shame, I've been really damn well looking forward to this weekend after all the stress I've had. I have mock exams next week so I'm gonna have no f***ing time to revise.                :hea: :hea: :hea: :hea: :hea: :hea: :hea: :hea: :hea: :hea:

Oh I know what it feels like, I expect your parents do have your best interests at heart though (I know it's patronising when you feel you are trustworthy and mature enough to fend for yourself but in a way you're lucky. Some parents leave young children alone without a second thought - look at the McGanns O.O ). Your parents obviously care and are just being "responsible". You'll not have to put up with it forever but I recall what an imposition it was when I was that age!

Have a nice time, try to enjoy yourself. Maybe it'll prove to be a good stress-reliever and better than you think

Yeah, thanks.
I know they mean well but I just feel like I should be given more responsibility and trust. :-/

Maybe you could address them about it over a family meal one day when the atmosphere is calm ;)

I think the worst thing we do at that age is protest and kick up a tantrum which merely convinces our parents we are immature

I think if you explain in a mature, composed way why you feel you can be trusted they may just give in. Then you can have an all night rave (what's your address again? ) Just kidding! You never know though, if you talk to them on their level they might well concede ;)

We lost the bid. XD Meh, it was fine. The woman who worked there where chatting to us SO much at breakfast no-one could get a word in... and she completely ruined the atmosphere by getting angry about something.

 Sorry but LOL!! I love it when you get on your soap box. You have such a wonderful dry way of telling things as they really are :ha:

I was reading that and imagining you choking on your soggy cornflakes as you struggled to speak  I dislike people like that - they are usually found in flowery aprons and moccasins in your average bed & breakfast dining room, waxing lyrical about poor turnover and serving up desecrated bacon strips that are so thin you wonder if the chef has shed his skin :o

I think she was wearing an apron and it was in a Bed and Breakfast dining room and she was talking about how this woman who worked with her would steal and she noticed money was disappearing.
