I can't believe it's been 20 years since the movie released, but it's still incredible how many people keep on singing Hakuna Matata (what a wonderful phrase indeed! :yah: ). To commemorate this spectacular event, I found "bloopers". Obviously they've been animated recently but hilarious nevertheless. - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAMkAkIMgAA

I have so many fond memories with this movie. My parents said that when I was a kid I never calmed down unless I watched the Lion King at least once while they were both away from the house. In fact, I loved it so much that my parents even bought two copies of the VCR when it came out! I also have TLK2, watched the Timon and Pumbaa animated series all the way through, and seen TLK 1 1/2 (aka TLK3 - Hakuna Matata). There's always the epic scenes such as wildebeests going off cliffs and hyenas doing Riverdance and bone taiko (drumming). But you definitely can't have Lion King without Timon and Pumbaa. Zazu and Rafiki are comedic (especially Rafiki in 2 and 3), but Timon and Pumbaa definitely seal the deal.

Favorite scenes from TLK series:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAMkAkIMgAA - Ah... the drama of parenthood, where kids swim through waterfalls, climb high trees, and sleep on top of a grub-a-holic warthog. Sound familiar? (TLK 1 1/2)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Edb1iRWXAA&feature=related - Rafiki channeling Bruce Lee! (TLK 1)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89kk2JQo_zc&feature=related - DON'T MESS WITH MR. PIG! (TLK 1)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fphnOKS2aOw - Quick before the Hyena come! (TLK 1 1/2)

The music is amazing. I can't choose. Tim Rice and Elton John are great at creating timeless pieces. I hope Disney can rack out more traditionally animated films like this. They did pretty well with The Princess and the Frog (as well as Enchanted and Tangled even though it's CGI and realism-anime respectively) by throwing out the typical princess dynamic and putting in some realism (i.e. you have to work hard to get certain things but others may just come to you without notice). It would be awesome if they can get in another Lion King-like epic. It may not be another Lion King installment, but it would just be amazing to have another traditionally animated epic.
Bella: You're kidnapping me, aren't you?
Alice: Sorry, he paid me.
Bella: How much?
Alice: The Porsche. It's exactly the one I stole in Italy.
