Administrator Posts: 3,311 Group: Administrators Member #1 Joined: 19 June 2008	A recent discussion reminded me of this fascinating case which was written as a book and later made into a movie for TV broadcast. Flight 401 perished when it plummeted into the Everglades, Florida. Both pilots were among the 101 who perished but pilots were seen haunting other planes and one was recorded on the flight data recorder. It's as though the pilots were determined to protect the crew and passengers of future flight - in planes that were later discovered to contain salvaged parts from Flight 401. Keeper of Zippy Posts: 1,015 Group: Administrators Member #8 Joined: 25 October 2008	I read the story. Very interesting. It appears the pilot and flight engineer wish to protect flights. They've taken on a big responsibility. I hope that one day they will realize that it is not their responsibility and that they can move on.

I don't know why, but it brings up the possibility that maybe the lives lost in the two crashes of the planes leaving Rio might be doing the same thing.
