A local missing graduate who has made national headlines for the past week. This news has just been released by the N.H.P.D. NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Police in Connecticut on Sunday said they found what they believe is the body of a Yale University graduate student and bride-to-be hidden inside the wall of a university building where she was last seen five days before. New Haven Assistant Police Chief Peter Reichard said officials presumed the body was that of doctoral student Annie Le, although they had not yet positively identified it. Le has been the focus of a massive police search since Tuesday. Le, 24, of Placerville, Calif., was to be married Sunday in Syosset, N.Y., on Long Island's north shore. New Haven police said they have contacted her family and have assumed control of the investigation, which is now being treated as a homicide. State police found the body at around 5 p.m. Sunday in an area of the building that houses utility cables that run between floors. |

So they managed to figure it out all by themselves that it was a likely homicide? Wow! Is there no end to the talents of the N.H.P.D.? I hope they catch the perportrator. Ever since Bundy wreaked havoc on a college campus (not to mention all these school massacres), I am forced to question the security of these establishments. Keep us notified of any developments, Peter! |

Wow, NHPD's pretty rapid when it comes to updates. Keep us posted! I hope the groom and late bride's families will find comfort. This is definitely a shocking and saddening story. I think this is the second story I've heard this about a wedding that never occurred because the bride or groom died. If you check out CNN, there's a video about a groom from NC who died on his wedding day while his best man was driving him to get some breakfast. |

Just in NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Raymond Clark III appeared in court and was charged with murder Thursday hours after his arrest in the killing of a graduate student whose body was found stuffed in the wall of the research building where they both worked. Raymond Clark III, 24, kept his head bowed during the three-minute appearance in the death of Annie Le, also 24. He didn't enter a plea and said, "Yes, your honor," when asked whether he understood his rights. The judge then set bail at $3 million and sent him to a holding cell. |
