btw my cell phone is a mere $15 for 3 months and my # is only know by 3 persons(including me) (make that 2 because I can never remember it)

Thank you sis. My dad went home for 2 days and then went back into the hospital. He had more blood in his urine. The docs will doing an MRI to see if the cancer has eaten thru his bladder. He is really dying but they keep him as comfortable as they can. He has a permantent feeding tube into his stomach. He is not expected to live pass another month. I will keep you posted. :hug:

Peter ~ My phone cost lots more than that and many many has my number but like I said that is all we use as we have no landline.

I haven't seen any call boxes any where here in Texas. In La there were very few left but they have all been removed since Hurricane Rita damaged the rest that was left.

Just another tip I thought I would pass on.
Ever wondered if you ever lost your wallet or your purse.
And you had to have stuff like drivers licence,charge cards,medical cards
etc replaced. And no doubt you would not even know the toll free numbers.
So what I did was place all the cards (both sides)on my copier and keep a copy of them at home in my "important" box.
