Partly due to the exchange rate - $1.38 to the £ this year and when we went to the States last year it was $2. Also the fact that I have just bought (but not yet got) a brand new car does not help the finances much. No! We have found a really beautiful self-catering cottage in Barnstaple, Devon and we're going there at the beginning of July. Quite a while since we had a U.K. break so we are looking forward to it very much. All depends on the weather now!

Sail from Liverpool to OSLO NORWAY OSLO TO GOTHENBURGH SWEEDEN GOTHENBURGH TO HELSINKI FINLAND HELSINKI T0 ST PETERSBURGH RUSSIA A TWO DAY STAY THERE ST PETERSBURGH TO DENMARK DENMARK BACK TO LIVERPOOL So I am looking forward to that going on the BLACK PRINCE WITH FRED OLSON A 14 night cruise. I was really hoping to fly to the UK this year, but it looks like that won't be happening. Exchange rates are really hard, especially on the USD exchanging for pounds or euros. But I'm having a pretty good weekend in my house. Had a little Cajun cuisine and tasty gelato!
