OK, I know some of you are probably website creating experts. I am not. I have, however, just 'built' two in a few hours:
www.ringtonesquartet.net and www.asmchoir.com with the aid of Synthasite which is located at: http://www.synthasite.com/

With the aid of this company you can easily and quickly create a very impressive, albeit simple, website. There is a huge variety of colour schemes and an understanding of html is not required as it is a simple 'drag and drop' procedure. If I can do it, believe me, anybody can!

What's more, if you don't mind an address with the word 'Synthasite' in it, it is totally free. If you want a shorter address such as the two I have created, it costs about £10 a year at the current exchange rate (U.S.A. company).

There is virtually no limit to what you can do - pictures, soundbites, hit counters, statistics analysers, blog pages.................. The other thing about it is that if you try to do something and don't fully understand the excellent tutorials, help is very quickly available. I had to email them with something I could not quite work out and got a reply within the hour.

Just thought you might like to know.

Thanks, Hoggy, very useful information.

Not sure what I personally would use such a website for - unless I wanted to blog my travels!

I fully intend to blog our proposed Canada trip this year. I figure it makes sense to immortalise it online since it's going to run into thousands of Pounds

September - could be hot, could be cold so I have been advised to pack "creatively" by the administrator of Eidos who lived there for many years before marrying her German sweetheart and moving to Germany

I hope to meet my own co-administrator Ruum Taedor upon my travels and if so, I am sure he will post some pics of us all having a swell time in the lovely Manitoba area. Toronto and Niagra Falls is the first stop, then on to the Rockies...Calgary et al.

I have my list started already as to what to pack - teabags being a priority

I'm sure it will be a memorable trip, Lo. I hope to be a good host, or at least a tour guide and chauffeur for you and your Mum while you're in Manitoba. I can post some preliminary pics, but it will be great to see your blog (barring lost camera, stray dog eating your notes, etc).
