The bursting altitude for a SAM-2 was 60,000 feet. The B-2 cruised well above that.. |

B-2? Thought this was about the B-70..... And according to wiki that had a ceiling above 70,000 and was shelved due to SAM missile developments. Especially after the U-2 was taken down. |

Wasn't powers taken down by a SAM-2 at about 72,000ft?..........and anyway what about the SA-5 Gammon............? SA-4 Ganef? |

Powers was shot down because his U-2 broke and the SAM caught him below 60,000 I know what Wiki said as I have seen it. |
