Hey all. I'm new to all of this wireless mumbo jumbo. :ermm:
Anyone know what I need to hook my PS3 up to the net? I'm totally lost.
If it helps; I have a modem.

I think that helps. There's a good website that tells you this, but I need to rummage through my old links to find it...
I'm having trouble with connecting my PS2. I have Airport Express so I can come up with stuff for that.

Bella: How much?
Alice: The Porsche. It's exactly the one I stole in Italy.

I've posted a query on another site I administrate (PC Nightmares), Tessa, on your behalf.

I'll pass on any solves! ;)

If you have wifi you should be able to go into settings, select your modem and input the password. If not you just connect via ethernet. It can't be that difficult, can it?
Don't have a PS3 though but it's the same with anything with Wifi.

Ohh kay.

I was told wifi would not work with a modem. :$ But that was a friend who said that. Not sure she knew what she was doing. -_-

no it won't work with a modem............you need a wireless router, then you can either use an ethernet cable into the LAN port at the back of the PS3 (as I do) or go into the internet wireless settings on the PS3 and set it up from there.

Try LINKSYS or Airport Express.

... or you can try Sig226's idea. That sounds more likely to work. ;)
