Because he fled the Nazis. The American in him came out! In other words, inside of Dr. Teller there was an American waiting to get out. While I thank God everyday that America has scientists/patriots like Dr. Teller he did give Dr. Openhiemer a good screw'n without a kiss. He testified against Oppy at a security clearance hearing. That is exactly what I meant! Dr. Teller hated commies. When Ronald Reagan was Gov. of California he had several conversations with Teller about missle defense. I think this is where the idea for SDI originated. I remember the speech in '83.. Wonderful stuff. And the commies knew we could do it. Granted DEW has taken some time but most of it works... God Bless President Reagan and Dr. Teller... |
