In 1964, 12 year-old victim Keith Bennett, of Manchester, UK was murdered and buried on Saddleworth Moor by the lovers Ian Brady and Myra Hindley - the latter since died in prison. After years of extensive searching to afford the child's mother some finality, detectives have called off the search until newer technology becomes available. A spokesman for Scotland Yard has said he feels sure Ian Brady knows of the location of Keith Bennett's grave but that he is possibly either not going to reveal it or he may be tormenting police with this withheld information (though I don't see any need for a bargain strike because he's still on a hunger strike and being force-fed as I understand it). Of the five children they systematically abducted, tortured, murdered and buried on the Moors, that of Keith Bennett's has never been found, thus leaving his still grieving mother in a state of unrest.
