F.A Q.
Things you need to know

Q. What does it mean to be Rogue (Lycanthrope or Hunter)

A. A rogue lycanthrope is one that is not part of the Clan and does not follow the Clan Rules, either wanting to do their own thing or just not believing in them. The same goes for hunters as well, those that don't/won't follow Rules. Being a rogue can be rather dangerous though if they break a rather important rule. It isn't uncommon for the leader of either group to demand that the said Rogue should be killed/hunted down.

Q. Where do the Lycanthrope Races meet?

A. Each Lycanthrope race meet at their designated meeting spots every full moos and when they need to change. If the lycan races need to meet as a whole to take care of a threat or if there is a immediate emergency, etc., they meet in the Everglades. All groups meet at their designated meeting place when an emergency meet is called unless its stated otherwise.

Q. So what's Miami really like in Curtain Call?

A. Miami is warm no matter what the season. Even during the winter people still go to the beach and act as if its summer weather. So because of the warm weather the trees are always green an in the city there's usually palm trees jutting up where ever there's room (think Miami Vice)

The Everglades is a national park that, if you can recall, is famous for its protected marshes. But alligators are a rather large threat to those that get too close to the water or don't stick to the trail. At night it is a place where lycanthropes frequent to change and to gather for full moons. Since its a patrolled area it means in order to do so they have to sneak in and those that have lived in Miami have perfected that down to an art.

Q. What are the goals of hunters?

A. In general most hunters hunt because they have the skill and want to put it to good use by protecting the general public from murderous shape shifters. They usually don't eradicate lycanthropes for a self-righteous cause since that would give them away and because that would only cause more problems with the races than they really want. Some also hunt because there are a select few that are aware of lycanthropes and will pay good money to have them killed.

Q. Are there other shape shifters in the CC Universe besides those we're allowed to apply for?

A. Yes there are. Almost every carnivorous animal has a lycanthrope version yet the ones allowed are indeed the most common in the States. At another time we may allow other lycanthrope types to be introduced into the game.

Q. How do Lycanthropes age?

A. Lycanthropes/Shape shifters/Shifters are not immortal. They age and die just like humans but due to their regeneration/healing abilities they age slower. An example would be a lycanthrope appearing in their mid twenties and being closer to 40.

Q. How does the process of shifting go?

A. Our shifters turn much like the old tales state. There is no magic, though one would be able to feel energy around them. The animal and human switch places and many have described this feeling close to the animal digging at their insides or jumping at the fleshy cage to get out. The process of shifting is made up of bones breaking inside the flesh and realigning themselves to recreate the animal's structure. Muscles move, hair grows and is lost depending on the form that will be taken. Newly turned animals tend to take up to five minutes to shift and generally after having been a lycan for over ten years, those minutes can be turned into seconds. It always hurts, but the pain fades after the shift is complete. Many find that stretching after helps ease it into a dull ache.

Q. Who is the current leader of the Clan, now that the old Alpha has recently passed?

A. There is not just one leader of the clan, in fact there is no clan anymore. Instead, each Lycanthrope race has split off into their own group and they have a leader, which is named differently in each race, and it is these leaders who make up a council for lycanthrope races. They are the ones that make the decisions/rules for the races based on a whole.
