I have a particular soft spot in my heart for this group, being a MoTown girl all my life. The Miracles, The Temptations, The Four Tops....they were my heroes growing up and remain among my favorites to listen to even today.

Sleep in Peace, Levi....and thank you so much for the wonderful Gifts you shared with us during your time in our World.

The MoTown Sound was everywhere when I was younger. I still get a tingle when I hear that sound. Loved those Detroit groups and Philly groups ; Levi's contribution to musical history will be rememebered fondly.

I also grew up in the midst of the "MoTown Sound," and loved those wonderful musical groups Gypsee mentioned in her post! Rest in peace, Levi Stubbs ~ and thank you for the many years of enjoyment you brought us with your music! God Bless You.

It's always sad and nostalgic when a legend passes, and Levi Stubbs and The Four Tops were most definitely legendary!
