Well the photo section works, the tour dates section works, the links to imeem, youtube, myspace and facebook work, the music section works-both EW and TH are for sale--you can buy songs by the track--cuz since I found it I haven't done anything around the house yet--and I go back to work soon--

Gr8-you couldn't have said it better-"There goes what's left of my life!!"

BUT--I'm SOO glad they revamped this thing--Taylor needs this!!

BTW--here's just one of the tracks you can find by clicking on the imeem link--a live, very clear ACOUSTIC version of "The Fall" from WATW!!

(Hmm-do I smell an Uncle Shag notification coming around???)

Gypsee, it looks pretty neat over there.....just curious but do you know why when you click on album details for Early Works it says "Goddess In The Doorway"? it was mentioned at the BB that is a Mick Jagger album....

Cochem, I am not sure why that is there, but I know they are still getting the bugs worked out. As to HQ, that is run by a different company than TenMinuteMedia, which is the outfit running TH.com. Here is hoping both sites thrive! TH.HQ is the official fanclub associated with the main TH.com, but as of right now, they are run by different companies.

Well it does say "Goddess in the Doorway" when you click on the album details for EW-BUT it DOES have the track list and a place to buy it--maybe they'll get it fixed soon!!

BTW-I notified Uncle Shag about this site so he can let his listeners know in case anybody that can't get to a Target can buy EW or TH!!

I am sure the webmakers will be working on this site for a while , but at least the bones of the site are operational. It is a great improvement. A professional looking and operating site has been need. I'm thrilled that this issue is being addressed. It is also good to see the connection among Taylor's myspace, his headquarters, imeem and his face book. All this is easily accessible !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG-the imeem section is great!! I've been over there several times and there's some different stuff there--like the Finebaum interviews, some AI stuff--BUT--there's several tracks from WATW that are out of this world--so clear--

Here's probably my fave so far--I like this one so much that I contacted a "country" station here locally because of the country vibe and sent them the link--YES I KNOW Taylor says he's not a country singer-but take a listen to this version of "The Deal" from WATW and try to deny that it sorta has a country feel to the arrangement and that it just might fly on a contemporary country station--

At this point can Taylor afford to be choosy about the stations that play him--since up to now he's had none??? (Radioio and Uncle Shag excluded of course-I mean mainstream radio)

Anyway-this is an example of the clarity and quality of the imeem portion of Taylor's website-and if THIS portion is this great-what will the whole thing be when completed??????

Enjoy:

:jy so true, Gr8!!

Anyway, this looks like a great site, and I am so happy to see it!! I have not had a chance yet to explore it all, but what I see so far is fantastic -

OBG, I agree that the link to that version of the Deal sounds more than just a little country to me - I'll send it to both of our country stations this weekend!

I am looking forward to this site being finished - ;wh

This is a beautiful new Taylor site! I'm so glad he has a "public" place for potential fans and "old" fans to hang out.

I know what you are saying!!! "My life that was left" had already dwindled to near nothing! Too bad there isn't an Avid Fan Retirement Fund! Do we wonder if it is worth it?? Nooooooooooo! I wouldn't want it any other way.

Okay, going to listen to this country song??? Taylor? Are you kidding me?

I sent it to my youngest sister. Asked her to give it a listen & tell me whether it was just me, or did it have a 'country flair' to it. This is her response:
~~~~~~~~~~
Didn't sound to country, I think it's the electric guitar, sounds almost like the steel guitar. Sounded like early John Cougar Mellencamp to me, not to bad.
~~~~~~~~~~
Hunh? :'(
