THE ARCO ARENA:

ARCO Arena is the top venue for sports, entertainment and special events in the Sacramento region. With nearly 200 spectator events each year, ARCO Arena is one of the busiest buildings of its kind in the United States.
Nearly 2 million fans from throughout Northern California visited ARCO Arena last year for events ranging from NBA and WNBA basketball to Disney on Ice. ARCO has hosted such world-famous acts as the Rolling Stones, Elton John, Garth Brooks, and a growing roll call of today's biggest names in entertainment.

The $40 million, 442,000 square-foot arena opened in 1988. The current configuration seats up to 17,317, and is versatile enough to host anything from ice shows to monster trucks. ARCO Arena is home to the Sacramento Kings of the NBA and the WNBA's Sacramento Monarchs. ARCO Arena has twice been host to the NCAA Western Regional Men's Basketball Tournament.

Other than the fact that there are no neighborhoods adjacent (i.e. walking distance) to the arena, the first thing that hits you is how nicely the grounds here are landscaped and manicured. The ring roads and parking islands are all tree lined, and this adds a lot to the ambience of the building.

SETLIST:

"Jailhouse Rock" (Entrance) ( Elvis Presley )
"Hollywood Nights" ( Bob Seger )
"Livin' For The City" ( Stevie Wonder )
"Do I Make You Proud"
"Takin' It To The Streets" (Encore) ( The Doobie Brothers
