SOUL PATROL MEMORIES:

A TAYLOR MOMENT

1. Another sold-out show Sunday for those of us who couldn't get tickets last night. Man, he did Birmingham proud. Taylor is one of those entertainers who can't help but give it his all. Tonight's encore was Taylor on guitar, with a single spotlight, singing "That my home's in Alabama, no matter where I lay my head, My home's in Alabama, Southern born and Southern bred".

Taylor and his band are polished, professional, fun and spontaneous! Good show guys, you had us smiling, dancing and very happy tonight!

2.Two fantastic shows and almost $10,000 raised for the Red Cross.

He sane the beautiful, beautiful song :My Home's in Alabama", just him & his guitar- and this time, I saw his tears. That was the most touching moment in the whole evening, especially with the Alabama people singing along with him. Then he raised his are in goodbye, and quietly left the stage. I was crying, not only from the emotion of that song, but I know my trip was over & I would have to leave the wonderful people I had met. It was truly a magical night- then to see him one last time at the buses, where he signed another autograph for me, was almost too much to comprehend. That is one fine gentleman, and the u;ltimate performer, and I'me very fortunate to have met him & attended his concerts.
