Travis County Exposition Center Leudecke Arena The Luedecke Arena is one of the best you will find in the Southwest. Entirely covered, the 25,000 square foot arena floor is surrounded by stadium seating for 6,400 people. Additional seating is available on the arena floor for 3,000 people for a more extravagant purpose such as professional boxing, car shows and concerts. On the east side of the arena is a 9,000 square foot exhibit area. The arena has a complete sound system and stage capability as well. They reached out to the audience who were no closer to the stage then 50 or 60 feet. That he could bring the audience to cheers and thunderous applause is a testament to his showmanship. 2. Taylor’s stage was brought in pulled by a large tractor. The sides were folded up like an up-side-down drop-leaf table. It took about 15-20 minutes to set up the stage, which was round, and to set up the instruments. When set-up, the stage slowly turned clockwise, until late in the show when Taylor asked to have the stage turned counter-clockwise.... beverlynBama . courtesy of lucky9948 courtesy of lucky99483. Pretty damn good, I wish it could have lasted longer. Guess there were time constraints because of the rodeo. I know he's a blue-eyed soul singer but I especially enjoyed "the Deal", kinda country, which I like. Taylor signed autographs at the buses after the show. Lots of screaming young girls but we made it through and he was cordial and accomodating to everyone. We got to meet some of the band members too. Nice folks |
