Lancaster was rocking last night, Taylor was especially connected to the crowd. He seemed exceptionally happy, joked around with us. He introduced one of his original songs, said he had written it many years ago "I'm actually 65". Funny, made us laugh. Seems like a nice guy. I like that he doesn't take himself so seriously. Very serious though when it comes to the music. Beautiful version of "The Right Place". His vocals were very powerful last night. The band is kick ass. Taylor kept putting the spotlight on them and they deserved it, all of them. For me Brian on sax really stood out. Liked how Taylor introduced him. We got a little of the Grateful Dead's "Sugaree" and then Taylor gave us some "My Girl" (he added it to "The Maze"). 2. To sum up. Seeing Taylor Hicks live is an evening of pure ENJOYMENT. His excitment on stage is contageous and gets the audience singing and dancing! Everyone left the theater wearing a smile!! I will surely jump at the chance to see him in concert again! courtesy of taylor10/63. Taylor’s voice was great, very strong and clear. He was fun, played the guitar, harmonica, and the band was amazing. It’s really impossible to explain in words what its like to go to his concert. Even two days later and I’m still in a trance and disappointed it’s over, but so grateful for the experience and I have to say it makes you want more and more. I can see why people go to many of his concerts. There is no way you can get enough. You’d have to go to his concert yourself to really understand how impossible it is to explain in words what he and his music does for the soul. When he is singing, he becomes music and he is just amazing. |
