Alabama Gives Day aims to make history by connecting new and existing donors with hundreds of Alabama nonprofits in just 24 hours. Form a team today! Here's how it works: 1) Let us know you'd like to form a team. Choose a team captain and recruit at least five team members. 2) Choose a Kid One child to run in honor of - we will provide you with their story, picture, and their favorite superhero or character that you can then use as a team theme. 3) Raise funds leading up to the event (optional) 4) Show up on race day and go all out to show the spirit of your Kid One child's favorite superhero! What could be more fun than a 5K race full of Spidermans, Batmans, and Tinkerbells? Contact Mary Anne at macolvin@kidone.org to form a team. Join the Krewe of Vulcan and Kid One Transport to celebrate the 2nd Annual Mardi Gras Masquerade in true New Orleans fashion!! Enjoy fantastic skyline city views, beats to dance the night away by Mark AD, cajun cuisine and Bourbon Street cocktails that will transport you to the French Quarter! Charity Golf Tournament benefiting Kid One TransportWe would like to recruit at least 2 additional teams before Monday! 2012 Charity Golf Tournament On Monday, July 30, 2012, the Center Point Fire District will host their annual charity golf tournament in memory of Firefighter/Paramedic Rickey L. Davis. The tournament, which will benefit Kid One and the Muscular Dystrophy Association, will be held at Grayson Valley Country Club and feature an 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. shotgun start. Cost for the tournament is $125 per golfer or $500 per team. This price includes golf and cart, food, drinks and goodie bags including a new dri-fit golf shirt. An array of door prizes will also be given away at the tournament. Click here download the registration form.
