Funny. I'm not sure what Taylor's "Nineteen" has to do with employment law which is the major focus of this blog , but it's nice to see and , yeah, hear.

In my opinion, Taylor's song "Nineteen" (and the way he sings it) is in a class by itself. I cannot listen to that song without crying; however, I continue to listen to it because I love it! I am always so moved by the passion, support and dedication Taylor has always expressed for our military troops and their families. And he always encourages us to remember the sacrifices they make daily for our freedom.

Although I am not sure I understand the connection between the song "Nineteen" and this "employment law" site, I appreciate their selecting it as "HR Song of the Week," and bringing this beautiful song to the attention of those who may not have heard it ~ especially as Memorial Day and the Fourth of July are almost upon us!

Bravo, Taylor! You so deserve this gesture of recognition for your heartfelt song, "Nineteen," and the impact I'm sure it has had on so many people! :ht

Was flummoxed by the initials HR in HR Song of the Week.
Found the answer:

HR: Human Resouces . Mr. Phillips likes to include Humor and Songs for Human Resource Professionals. I guess they are a unique bunch of individuals. LOL

This is very nice and well-deserved recognition for the song and the artist. I agree the song may have been chosen for Memorial Day and Fourth of July in mind.

Taylor always makes a song his own and "Nineteen" is no exception. I watched him sing it up close at Roxy's and he really does feel a song...not just sing it. I think Nineteen will be around for a long time, as much of Taylor's music will be.

In a world of natural disasters and terrorism, we sometimes forget the day to day military sacrifices that continue.

Thanks to the employment law blog for remembering our troops.

I think it must have to do with the idea of "work" and being dedicated to doing your job-since being in the military is a job-

But no matter-its still nice that he chose Taylor;s version-again bringing new fans to the fold-
