Do you remember this?

Taylor at the Kentucky Derby looking every inch the Broadway star he was because that is where he was heading.

In May, 2008, we had just learned that Taylor was starring in "Grease." The rest is history!

The Derby was a fitting celebration for Broadway's new Teen Angel.

Here is our media thread for the Derby. Remember Taylor in the rain?

We have several threads you can look back at on Page 34 in All The Talk.

Here is one:

I don't follow horse racing, but the Triple Crown events are always exciting. It is raining there now which might put a damper on the festivities............. I noted that in one of Taylor's pictures at the event in 2008, "raindrops were failing on his head"...... I guess this year it could be a deluge.

Thanks for bringing these old memories back.

I wonder if Campbell's soup is served along with the mint juleps, cuz seeing this guy again in those suits is soooo MMMM MMMMM GOOOOD!!!!!!!

Funny-I was watching all the hype and other races on TV-and there was one race called the "Eight Belles"-named after the brave filly that raced in the Derby two years ago-and I was reminded of Taylor being there-then I see this thread--

YOWSA-he's still a WHOMPIN' Kentucky Colonel to me!!
