More than 5,000 of you (5,153, to be exact) cast your votes, and we've got the results. Below -- Birmingham's Best.
It all started about a month ago, when we took your nominations. That led to five nominees in each category, and that's what you've been voting on the past couple of weeks.

From Best Must-See Spot to Best Beer Selection (and 81 categories in between), we've got your picks. The winner is named, and the runners-up are listed in order of finish.

I voted in a few categories... we know a few of these places now!

The Redmont Hotel is one of the friendliest places you will EVER stay and it is a beautiful and charming historic place downtown. I was glad to see it in the finalists.

Local boy made good was an OBVIOUS choice for me!
