Our AC station is WMXS-FM or "Mix103" as we call it. I emailed the program director about WRIR and here's what I got back:

"We got it today and will give it a listen"
Now they played JTFTW A LOT, so maybe we'll get lucky tomorrow--Jazzy will be listening while I'm at work!

Now what about you guys? Have you emailed/called your local AC station about WRIR yet? You should!!

Let's contact our stations-nicely and professionally of course-and take WRIR straight to the top!!

BTW-our local NBC affiliate-WSFA TV-is linked to Mix103-they have a "Song of the Day"-and I have emailed someone there requesting that WRIR be considered for "Song of the Day"--can't hurt!!

I have moved up our master list of radio station request lines to this forum. We have A/C stations for all states, so if you don't know who in your area is A/C, check.

Please look at the list as well and see if you can add or update anything. This list was made from scratch way back to Clay days, and I try to updaet it every time anyone gives me knew stuff ....

I just emailed the clear channel A/C radio station in Phoenix, MIX96.9 to request they play What's Right is Right. I hope they will.

I got a prompt email back from Bryan Allen thanking me and saying that he would forward my request to music director, Chris Marino. So we should email Chris rather than Bryan.

Ok-I need some help here. Our station WMXS FM (Mix103) claims they HAVE the single-and Jazzy and I have both requested it-but its been two days-and the only "Taylor" I see on their daily playlist DOESN'T have Hicks for a last name and isn't male=(no offense to the artist intended)

When Jazzy called the DJ said "We'll play it sometime today" and they haven't yet-Its been two days--

You can check their daily playlist by clicking on "What Song was That?" on their website home page

Program Director is

We can only request that they play WRIR...
It's hard not to bombard them with our enthusiasm for Taylor's music...why can't they hear what we hear!!

It's been reported in the past that cookies delivered to the djs can't hurt!

We can only ask...it it their show.

I've given cookies/fruit tree three times to different stations and none worked, but I have heard that in some cases the cookies have worked. It seems to depend on whether the staff of the radio station is really local and on site.....

Personally I think the secretarial staff ate what I left and they never got to the Program Director and/or DJ.

LOL

The numbers have been hovering right around #25 on the Mediabase chart. The release of the video should help this. Keep requesting...

Check out evancol's thread about requesting directly through Mediabase...it's an easy way to request What's Right is Right.

Let's keep Taylor and WRIR up there! We can keep requesting from our local stations!

Request through Mediabase...this is what we do for Taylor!
