This was such a great way to begin my morning! Thanx for laying out the details of last night's concert ladies.

How fortunate for those who were able to attend this concert & how envious I am. It sounds like Taylor was 'totally combustible'! Was the fire department & medics extra busy last night? :'( :swn

I'm thrilled for everyone who got to see & hear Taylor; especially the cast of Grease. Now they know 'why' we are With Taylor!

Out of respect for Taylor's wishes, may everyone adhere to his no picture/taping request.
♥This is gonna be a Great Year!♥

We always get sappy.... he always seems to have that effect on all of us. It's pretty special, huh? When I saw him come out of the ice cream cone on Broadway - I just cried.... LOL!!!!

Different base guitar, and the drummer was new. The band hung out a bit after the show, especially the keyboardist and drummer. Super nice guys! They will be on the whole shadow tour, they believe. I will try to get their names right when my head clears...lolol.

Also, taylorfan, do you remember him singing Woman Gotta Have It? He mixed a lot of tags, could have been that. I am not as familiar with that song, so may not remember if I heard it or not. If it was not sung, I will correct my actual set list, though it was on the original list.

Thank you Gypsee for the the post. Now we that are attending Cincinnati are sooooooo ready. I hope we don't have anyone trying to video. They must respect Taylor's wishes. I know a lot of people love to see and hear when they can't attend but the Soul Man has asked us not to video and they will have to except just getting recaps. Please no one post any videos!

I feel bad that I went against Taylor's wishes by taking pictures. He moves so fast that it is almost impossible to get a good one. I didn't get any real good ones anyways. Sorry again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kari Parker , the drummer from Rafael Saadig and Kenny Crouch on keyboard/organ
Tim Carmon could very well have been the keyboardist and Crouch on organ

Thanks, mouser.

Taylorfan, it's ok....just don't advertise that you took them and don't post them. Some people were not clear if stills were ok. It is hard not to take photos, because he is so wonderful and we want our memories. Just keep them off the internet...lol...and if you get to other shadow shows, then you will know ahead :)

Thanks gals for the fabulous recaps. I'm speechless at this moment. It sounds like the new cd is going to be a WINNER! I sure hope he does a cd tour so the rest of us can enjoy him again. Wouldn't it be great if he did a couple of nights at each stop in smaller venues/clubs? Ü

I think this is the YouTube link for Woman's Gotta Have It--the original by Bobby Womack-and OMG-I can just SEE Taylor singing this one--center stage, hand over heart, eyes closed, feet planted, swaying/bouncing back and forth in time-then cutting loose with all the growling and riffing, crouching low for all the "woo wooo whoa" stuff-

Geez-its Sunday, I just got in from church-got Bible Study at 5-so why do I feel so SINFUL after hearing that song--LOL!!

Gypsee-did you hear anything that sounded like this?
