after googljerkn, finding and unsuccessfully attempting...
I was wondering if there's a simple way to code text shadow in ZB

text-shadow: black 0px 0px 5px;

^ one of my unsuccessful attempts :mellow: lol

I read up on this a few months ago. text-shadow is only available in CSS2 and currently, the only browser that is compatible with it is Safari. There are ways to get the effect on IE and Mozilla Firefox (both ways are different). There are many articles on it so I would suggest Google-ing.

lol- thx for the reply... but I did ("googljerkn"), and I came across the same 411 you did- most of the articles I read were dated 05 and 06 (safari/css2, ff, ie, ect) and I didn't think those older box methods were very efficient or even an option with ZB - however, I read about firefox 3.1 having text-shadow capabilities HERE and tried the shown technique with no success ... so I thought I'd ask since many here are experienced and I am not ;)

edit- got it working! woo hoo! DL'd ff 3.1 beta 2 and it works now :D

editseditededit- here's what it looks like :)

You really shouldn't concentrate on things like this. It may work for you but not others. And you'll get sick of them real soon.

all I'm concentrating on is learning things that I don't know- ff3.1 will be mass consumed soon enough and these shadow effects can be used to enhance our boards in many many ways, not just how I've shown them- not to mention your statement is a rather negative way of thinking about things... oops, guess I mentioned it- silly me :wacko:
