Seemed like a great browser and ahead of everyone else on things, but it needs a few items before I'd switch from FF. I am fond of my add ons

I think this browser is a good one. Although it could use alot of work still. Like when you go to check your processes it tells you that you have 1 more page open than there really is, like right now I have 3 tabs but it shows 4 Chrome.exe processes....actually 5....WTF? Also the google update process runs more than it should, I think.

I refuse to upgrade to IE7(on my desktop. It came with my laptop), mainly because I absolutely hate the way it looks now. I stuck with IE6 until Chrome came out. I tried FF on it, but, for some reason, it caused my dial-up connection to drop within the first minute or so. I never could figure out what the problem was. But anyway, Chrome is extremely fast on my 48.8 kbps(on good days) dial-up. Everything loads much faster than it did on IE 6, and its still in the beta phase (I believe). There was an update the other day, and now there is another one. I noticed that the previous update allowed me to make GC my default browser, which I did, of course. I wonder what this new update will do? Time to start downloading! ![]() Oh, and another plus is the amount of the page that is visible. I really love that.

JDE don't upgrade to IE8 you'll need the patch if you do as IE8 is just a big security risk. hm I have Chrome on my Desktop which isn't bad though I've set up FF to run faster than it, still it starts up faster than FF and I don't mind it. |

Upgraded my version of Chrome today, and it completed it magically without even showing me anything.

It takes some getting used to, but I agree. It seems to be more efficient than FireFox. If only it hard extensions now...

The only extension I really want is firebug. The inbuilt inspector in chrome doesn't do the job
