Ok, I'm no expert nor even a very good novice at coding anything. But I am trying to learn, and I figured with help from here I may get this figured out.

I am trying to use Css on an Html page to make a 1 celled table, with a header bar, that will hold my music player in the center of the page.

Here is what I've got so far, and I'm stuck at how to make the proper table in the center with header bar w/ gfx saying "GamingOnline Music Player"....

Plz help me?? :(

Code:

<html>
<head>

<style type="text/css">
body {background-color: #2d2d2d}

</style>

</head>
</html>

<center><embed src="http://playlists.mindviz.com/f/mva.micro.swf" FlashVars="FC=333333&BC=3398FF&I=http%3A%2F%2Fplaylists.mindviz.com%2Fgfx%2FdefBG.jpg&W=500&PLS=0&G=7&E=1&S=1&PL=xxxviperxxx-23553" wmode="transparent" allowScriptAccess="always" allowNetworking"all" name="mvaudio" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"/></center>

Here is what it looks like so far, but, as I said I'm stuck. Can't figure out the table w/header graffix in the center...

First off, you ended <html> and didn't define a body tag.

Code:

<html>
<head>

<style type="text/css">
body {background-color: #2d2d2d}

</style>

</head>
<body>

<center><table><th>Heading</th><tr><embed src="http://playlists.mindviz.com/f/mva.micro.swf" FlashVars="FC=333333&BC=3398FF&I=http%3A%2F%2Fplaylists.mindviz.com%2Fgfx%2FdefBG.jpg&W=500&PLS=0&G=7&E=1&S=1&PL=xxxviperxxx-23553" wmode="transparent" allowScriptAccess="always" allowNetworking"all" name="mvaudio" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"/></tr></center><table></body></html>

Note this is completely invalid XHTML and possible even invalid HTML4. However, that should not matter for a demo.

If this is not what you're trying to do, then please post a picture of the desired outcome :)

Ok, I see what you did, but the player is still stuck at the top of the page, and the table isn't centered... That's where I'm stuck also, trying to make a table with the header bar/graffix, and placing the player inside of it..so it floats in the middle of the page...

Here is what I/we got now...
