I've been watching quite a bit actually, and it's been pretty good. Mostly I've seen swimming (Phelps is amazing :o ), Beach Volleyball, and Gymnastics (I like the American women's team :P ), but some other stuff as well. So has anyone else been watching? What's your favourite event? What did you think of the Opening ceremonies? And if you want to say anything else I haven't asked, go ahead! ^_^

Yeah, I heard they spent like $100 Million on the opening and closing ceremonies...Vancouver is gonna have a hard act to follow in 2010!

I left right before the lighting of the torch though, so I'm going to try and find it somewhere on the internet.

I missed the opening ceremonies this year (maybe I'll try to find a video of it online). I always love watching the olympics though. Just seeing athletes compete is so entertaining. And especially the little side stories that make you tear up...those are the best. ^_^

I don't know if you guys remember, but back in the 2000 Sydney Olympics, a guy named Eric Moussambani swam, and didn't do that well in comparison to the other swimmers. But coming from a country with little training resources, he did damn well. I love stories like that. You can probably find the video of the swim on Youtube.

I didn't able to watch too much because of my busy days~
But I was watching in the news...
and sadly...
our country (Philippines) didn't get many awards or medals....
But they did their best.. i guess that would be fine...
