Can one have HTML in the "Forum Rules:" section in one of the forums? And how?

Well I'm not sure if there's a way so that HTML can be enabled or not. BBCodes are already allowed in forum rules. Is there a certain HTML code that you want to be added?

I was thinking of adding a chatbox there in one of the forums. But if that is not possible I will find another way. Thank you anyway!

Oh, that's easy. I'm assuming that the place you got the chatbox from comes with an HTML code to use?

For the rules, if you selected "show full rules", then use
Code:

<script type='text/javascript'>
$(function(){
chatbox = "CHATBOX_CODE";
$(".meta_box").html($(".meta_box").html().replace("[chatbox]",chatbox));
})
</script>

If you selected "show link", then use:
Code:

<script type='text/javascript'>
$(function(){
chatbox = "CHATBOX_CODE";;
$("#forum_rules").html($("#forum_rules").html().replace("[chatbox]",chatbox));
})
</script>

Then when you're editing the forum rules, type [chatbox] and it will replace it with the chatbox.

You're welcome.
See? We can read thoughts too. ;)

Your request has been completed, and we're moving it to the correct forum. We hope it works for you; if it doesn't, feel free to post another request topic in the requests forum. Just remember: read the rules first!

Thanks,
The ZBCode Staff
